Brownstone Brothers has limited itself to two or three trucks since 1978. This reflects our choice to establish ourselves as an expert high-end luxury mover in New York City and nearby areas. We have always recruited the best talent in the moving business.
MOVING IN EVERY BOROUGH
Both local and long-distance moves can be booked by calling our office and scheduling a free estimate.
Hourly: $50/hr per truck, $60/hr per mover.
All the following are for 1 truck:
2 movers: $170/hr.
3 movers: $230/hr.
4 movers; $290/hr.
5 movers: $350/hr.
6 movers: $410/hr.
7 movers: $470/hr.
8 movers: $530/hr.
We bill a minimum of 4 hours.
Unpacking is always billed hourly.

We offer a full line of boxes and all other packing materials that you'll need to prepare for your move. You may click here to view our complete Moving Supplies Price List. Our materials are very high-quality, and less expensive than most shipping and mailing stores. We offer one free box delivery to our moving and storage customers. PACKING
This is where our movers really show their skills. Our team of seasoned professionals has packed it all before but still treats each item carefully. We know how important your fragile items are to you. Whether it's your grandmother's porcelain teapot, an antique chair, and/or a delicate painting, our specialists will give your possessions the care and attention they deserve. We clearly label all boxes for your convenience. We offer full or partial packing and unpacking services custom-fit to meet your specific needs.
UNPACKING
Our movers will carefully unpack your belongings, break down boxes and remove all materials from your new home in record time.
PIanos
We move pianos: Steinways, Yamahas, and more. Our senior movers have seen it all.
Antiques/Art packing
We offer crating and specialty padding ensuring the safe delivery and/or storage of your most precious antiques, sculptures, and paintings. We have art handlers on staff who are happy to accommodate your needs.

We focus on executing meticulously careful moves, providing you with an estimate and moving plan that is specifically tailored to your home and lifestyle. From the person who answers the phone, to the estimator, to the moving crew and warehouse manager, the entire staff is dedicated to ensuring your move and/or storage experience with us is a pleasant one.
Residential Moves
Brownstone Brothers has moved everything from full brownstones to condos, small one bedrooms, and even penthouse suites. Once deemed NYC’s “stair masters,” our staff has seen all manner of elevators, corridors, driveways, and flights. No matter the circumstance, our team has the knowledge and skill to deliver your furniture door to door.
LONG DISTANCE MOVING
At Brownstone Brothers, we offer door-to-door service. This means that the foreman who runs your move and the crew who pack and load everything are also the ones who travel with your belongings, unload, and unpack at your new home. Unlike large relocation services, we can offer you a specific delivery date and stick to it. Any updates you may need, you can acquire with one phone call (instead of chasing down the dispatcher and the right driver.) Finally, we don’t put multiple shipments on our trucks, ensuring the timely arrival of your belongings and eliminating the possibility of mix-ups.
